The Macao Red Cross is sending relief supplies, including warm clothing, to the quake-hit province of Qinghai. Meanwhile, 15 public health centers damaged in the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan will be rebuilt with the help of Taiwan’s Red Cross Society, Focus Taiwan reports. Currency issues, global imbalances and bilateral trade were among the highlights of talks between Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, who was leading a 50-member EU delegation visiting China.
