Chinese Railway Project Gets ADB Support

The Asian Development Bank will lend USD150 million for the construction of a 259-kilometer electric railway line between the Chongqing municipality and Lichuan city in China’s Hubei province. The proposed eight railway stations will be equipped with modern signaling, safety, communications, and management information systems.
