CIDA Helps Put Up Human Rights Clubs in Ghanaian Schools

The Canadian International Development Agency will finance a project seeking to set up human rights education clubs in schools in Ghana’s Jasikan, Kadjebi, Nkwanta-North and Nkwanta-South districts. Students will be educated on the areas of domestic violence, child abuse, and child labor and trafficking. The Ghanaian government will partner with the International Labor Organization to foster awareness on child protection laws with a special focus on child labor.
