Comoros’ highest court on Jan. 13 backed the victory of the ruling party’s Ikililou Dhoinine in last month’s presidential polls. The court affirmed Dhoinine’s electoral victory against main opposition rival Mohamed Said Fazul in a runoff poll. The opposition slammed the ruling, alleging that the polls were marred by fraud, Reuters reports.
