Costa Rican Export Firms Gain IDB Aid

    The Inter-American Development Bank offered a USD500 million credit to bolster Costa Rica’s manufacturing and exporting sectors. The assistance will be used to help the country’s Central Bank provide on-lending services to exporters suffering from the lack of foreign financing due to the global economic slowdown.
