Development vs. Diplomacy and Defense

    Though they merge at times, development, diplomacy and defense are three divergent spheres of activities. Development professionals require different skill sets and certain personality characteristics, says Ritu Sharma, co-founder and president of Women Thrive Worldwide. Such personality traits include a sense of humility, and eagerness to listen to people and understand their culture, she adds.
