DfID Picks James Helm as Communications Director

James Helm has jointed the U.K. Department for International Development as its new director of communications. Helm most recently served as group client director at the U.K. Central Office of Information, which handles the marketing and communications needs of the government.

Helm’s background also includes stints with BBC as a reporter, presenter and producer. He replaces James Hardy, who recently left DfID to join BBC, PR Week reports.
