Djibouti Electricity Project Gets Additional World Bank Financing

The World Bank has approved a grant amounting to USD6 million as additional financing to the Power Access and Diversification Project in Djibouti. This will add to the current USD7 million budget, bringing the total project cost to USD13 million. The project, to be implemented by Electricitè de Djibouti, seeks to support the costs of activities on increasing access to electricity in underserved areas and promoting efficiency in electricity distribution.
