Donor Countries Encourage Haiti Debt Relief

    Several industrialized countries, known informally as the Paris Club, are urging Haiti creditors to consider relieving the debts owed by the disaster-stricken country, the

    reports. Members of the club have previously cancelled their claims on the country, worth USD214 million, in July 2009. The club members include the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy and Germany.
