Donors Send Aid for Fiji's Cyclone Victims

The New Zealand and Australian governments as well as the Red Cross are providing immediate aid to cyclone-ravaged Fiji, Radio New Zealand News reports. Australia is offering emergency humanitarian assistance worth 1 million Australian dollars (USD918,000) while New Zealand will be giving out relief supplies including tarpaulins, water containers and water purification tablets. Two Red Cross teams are also heading to the northern and eastern regions of Vanua Levu to assess the damage.
