Donors Set Up New Infrastructure Advisory Center in Pacific

The Australian and New Zealand governments, along with the Asian Development Bank and World Bank, established a new advisory center for infrastructure and services improvement in the Pacific. The USD2.4  million center will provide technical assistance to help Pacific nations develop sustainable infrastructure and services,

said. The initiative is provided under the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility, which will release some USD200 million over a four-year period to promote infrastructure development in the region.
