Donors Support Kenyan Electricity Program

The African Development Bank, European Investment Bank and French Development Agency have committed 6 billion Kenyan shillings (USD79.68 million) each to help build an electric transmission line in Kenya, the

reports. The sum will be also be used to finance the construction of a 220-kilovolt line, which would establish a link between a new thermal power plant and the national grid.
