EBRD Bolsters Water Services in Kazakhstan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will lend USD8 million to enhance water and wastewater services in Kazakhstan's Shymkent city. According to

, private water utility TOO Vodnye Resursy Marketing will administer the funding, which will be used to rehabilitate the city's water network and sewerage systems, and install frequency controllers.
