Kazakhstan banks may access a new USD75 million framework from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to help provide loans to domestic companies investing in energy efficiency and renewables, according to news release of ERBD. Up to USD7 million will be made available in sub-loan to private firms engaged in energy efficiency initiatives. Bank Center Credit is the first recipient of a USD10 million credit under the framework.
