EBRD Boosts Moldova Clean Energy Fund

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development launched a new 20 million (USD27 million) euro credit line for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Moldova. The Moldova Sustainable Energy Financial Facility will provide loans of up to 2 million euros to local industrial, agribusiness and service enterprises engaged in small and medium energy efficiency initiatives. The loans will be channeled through EBRD’s partner banks in the country.
