EBRD Postpones Ukraine Loan Consideration Anew

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development deferred to June 8, 2010, the consideration of a loan worth 175 million euros (USD237 million) for the Ukrainian power utility firm Ukrenergo, Ukrainian Journal reports. This is the third suspension of the talks since December 2009. If approved, the loan will support the construction of a new power substation and related transmission lines.
