The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will lend 100 million euros (US$139 million) to scale up lending activities for small and medium firms in Hungary. The funding, according to
, will be used to provide as much as 1.5 million euros in subloans to Hungarian SMEs. Erste Bank Hungary will administer the EBRD loan.
