Albania may receive up to 50 million euros (USD73 million) in loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development by February 2010,

reports. The loan will be used to rehabilitate approximately 500 kilometers of local and regional roads. This project is under a wider highway rehabilitation program worth 137 million euros. The program is supported by the World Bank, the OPEC Fund for International Development and the Council of Europe Development Bank.
