EIB Backs Czech Region's Infrastructure Development

The European Investment Bank is providing euro78 million (USD106.67 million) to support the modernization of infrastructure in the Czech Republic’s northeastern region of Moravia-Silesia.

The loan will cofinance the implementation of priority projects under the region’s infrastructure development plan. It will also support projects in the region’s transportation, health, social, education, tourism, culture, and information and communication technology sectors.
