Romania secured 370 million euros ($517 million) from the European Investment Bank for the construction of a new metro line in Bucharest,
reported. The fifth metro line in the city will cover nine kilometers and 14 stations. Romania is also in talks with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation over some 300 million euros in funding to help build a sixth metro line.
