EIB, DBSA Partner for African Infrastructure Projects

Africa’s infrastructure projects will receive USD6 million through an agreement recently signed by the European Investment Bank and the Development Bank of Southern Africa, Pan-African News Agency reports. EIB explained in a statement that the funds will be spent on different projects in Africa’s transport, water sanitation, energy and urban development sectors.

Both institutions urged participating national organizations to ensure the quality and impact of their projects. EIB and DBSA seek to increase investment funding for African infrastructure.
