EIB Earmarks Massive Loan for Turkish SMEs

The European Investment Bank intends to lend Turkey as much as EUR2.7 billion (USD3.56 billion) this year,

reported. Turkey's biggest listed bank, Isbank, secured a EUR250 million loan from EIB a week after Istanbul-based Eurobank Tekfen announced a EUR110 million loan deal with the European Union's lending institution. The loans will be used to bolster lending to small and medium-sized enterprises.
