EIB Helps Upgrade Hungarian Telecommunications Networks

The European Investment Bank is lending euro150 million (USD198 million) to improve telecommunications infrastructure in Hungary. The loan will finance the development of Magyar Telekom’s mobile networks - 3G and Long-Term Evolution - and fixed line telecoms infrastructure from 2010 to 2013.
