EIB Invests in Turkey SMEs

The European Investment Bank is entering into an agreement with the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey to make approximately 90 million euros (USD124 million) available for the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises, the Daily News reports. Turkish SMEs can access the money from local banks after the agreement is formalized at the European Union SME Finance Days to be held on March 17, 2010.
