Energy-Efficient Indian Firms Gain JICA Backing

The Japan International Cooperation Agency is teaming up with the Small Industries Development Bank of India to offer a line of credit for firms purchasing energy-efficient machineries. Plastic sector companies, food processing units and ancillary engineering units have already expressed their interest to access the assistance, The Hindu reports.
