Estonia is “on track” to adopt the euro starting next year, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said.

    “A lot of work remains to be done in the last months… but at the moment I am speaking, I think the preparation seems to be very much on track,” Trichet said Sept. 2 during a press conference at ECB’s headquarters in Germany, Estonian Public Broadcasting reports.
