Ethiopia Secures DFID Aid

The U.K. Department for International Development will release almost USD50 million in emergency food assistance to Ethiopia. The decision followed a USD460 million aid appeal launched by the World Food Program for the drought-hit nation. The money will be used to provide food, medical support, nutrition and water supply services to some 9.6 million people.
