EU Adopts New Afghan Strategy

The European Union has adopted a new strategy for providing civilian aid to Afghanistan,

reports. Under the new scheme, the EU will increase its financial assistance to the Asian country, improve the coordination of its aid efforts, promote good governance, assist in the creation of effective state institutions, and help build the capacity of Afghan officials.
