EU Commits Financing to Back Doubling of IMF Reserves

The European Union will supply about a third of the proposed doubling of resources of the International Monetary Fund worth USD500 billion. According to

, the bloc will provide about EUR75 billion to EUR100 billion to IMF. Reforms of the fund will be finalized during the April 2 meeting of the G-20 in London.
