EU Promises Election Aid for Central African Republic

The European Union has made more than USD15 million available to support the Central African Republic’s presidential and legislative polls, raising hopes that the polls will push through in January next year. The elections, originally slated for April, have been delayed due to budget and security concerns, Voice of America reports.
