Eurozone Urged to Seek IMF Seat

    European Union President Herman Van Rompuy has urged eurozone states to secure representation at the International Monetary Fund, The Straits Times reports. The move may have the backing of the EU executive commission and the chief of eurozone finance ministers’ group, but member states themselves expressed little interest in the seat.
