Finland Announces 2011 Pledge for UN Women

Finland has pledged to provide €3 million ($4.3 million) to U.N. Women, the U.N. agency focused on gender equality and women’s empowerement, for 2011.

This year’s commitment is three times the country’s 2010 contribution, which amounted to €1 million.
