The Food and Agriculture Organization and international humanitarian organization CARE have warned of an impending food crisis in quake-hit Haiti. Host families caring for the earthquake victims, according to the two aid groups, are using up their savings and food stocks to assist the survivors of the Jan. 12 earthquake. Both aid agencies have kicked off cash-for-work programs to help quake-affected communities.
