Former CIDA Official Joins Gates Foundation

Ernest Loevinsohn, former director general for global initiatives at the Canadian International Development Agency, will now head the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s global health program. Loevinsohn will serve as the foundation’s director of policy and advocacy to help foster political commitment and effective investment in global health in both developed and developing countries. He will assume the post on June 21.
