Gambia’s economic outlook for this year is “generally positive” particularly if improvements in the tourism sector further pick up, according to the International Monetary Fund. An IMF mission traveled to Gambia on March 4-17 to evaluate recent economic developments and discuss with the government economic policy initiatives planned for this year.
