Gates Foundation Enlists Merck Honcho as CFO

Richard Henriques is leaving his post of senior vice president of finance and corporate controller at Merck to take up his new role as chief financial officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

“Richard brings great depth and experience to the foundation, which will be integral as we continue to manage our growth and assess our progress,” said Gates Foundation CEO Jeff Raikes in a press release. “His leadership will be critical as we look for new opportunities to maximize the impact of our work around the world.”
