Israeli troops killed May 21 two armed Palestinians, who crossed into the Israeli border from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip by breaching a security fence. Meanwhile, about 20 masked gunmen attacked a summer camp for children run by the United Nations, destroying plastic tents and storage facilities at the camp site, Reuters reports. The militants accused the organizers of promoting immorality in the religiously conservative commune controlled by Hamas Islamists.
