Global Fund Helps Bulgaria Fight Tuberculosis

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has provided 9.5 million euros (USD13.97 million) to help Bulgaria contain tuberculosis,

reports. The money will support a five-year program to reduce the number of tuberculosis cases to 27 in every 100,000 people from the current 38 per 100,000 people.
