Guatemala to Receive USD350 Million IDB Loans

    The Inter-American Development Bank will extend two loans worth USD350 million to Guatemala. Of the amount, USD200 million will be used to combat malnutrition through conditional cash transfer programs in priority municipalities. The rest will help broaden access to and enhance the quality of pre-primary and primary education in the country.
