The African Development Bank has approved million-dollar loans for various projects in Guinea and South Africa.
On Wednesday (May 18) AfDB green-lighted a $150 million loan for the Kalagadi manganese mining project; the bank’s first-ever mining beneficiation and industrial project in South Africa.
The bank’s board of directors also approved a $30 million loan for economic and financial reform initiatives in Guinea, according to an AfDB news release.
