Haitians Flee Port-au-Prince

More than 400,000 Haitians have fled the country’s earthquake-ravaged capital, Port-au-Prince, to less affected towns and villages, Xinhua News reports. The United Nations said relief operations in these towns are ongoing, but they are suffering from food shortages because of the sudden influx of people seeking relief. Medical centers are also strained to their capacity limit, the U.N. added.
