How video helps farmers in south Asia and sub-Saharan Africa

In south Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, where agriculture plays an important role but also where agricultural extension systems can fail to reach those who need the most support, farmers are learning from one another by going in front of the camera.

Digital Green, a nonprofit working with nongovernmental organizations and government agencies that are already training farmers, uses videos starring farmers themselves to disseminate information on agricultural practices to their fellow farmers.
