An International Monetary Fund mission held talks with Hungarian authorities over the government’s planned policies for 2010 and beyond. Hungary intends to reach a fiscal target of 3.8 percent of its gross domestic product for this year under a standby arrangement with the fund. Some USD8.27 billion has so far been disbursed under the 17-month arrangement, which was extended to October 2010. The next IMF review mission is scheduled for early July.
