IDB Bolsters Guatemalan Foreign Trade

The Inter-American Development Bank offered a USD20 million loan to enhance Guatemala’s flourishing foreign trade profile. The funding will assist the Central American nation in attracting more foreign investments, improving the business climate and finding new markets for goods produced by small and medium-sized firms. The bank will finance export promotion activities such as trade missions and specialized trade fairs.
