IDB Finances Chile’s Biofuel Study

The Inter-American Development Bank is granting USD1 million to enable Chile to study the feasibility of producing

from biomass waste. The money will help finance the construction of a facility to produce hydrogen and steam from byproducts of the country's wood and forestry industry. ForEnergy S.A will carry out the project and analyze its investment and operation cost against its viability in the commercial market.
