IDB Grants Await Cultural Projects

The Cultural Center of the Inter-American Development Bank has launched an open call for proposals for small-scale cultural development projects.

The bank will award grants between USD3,000 and USD10,000 to support cultural projects that address a local need, support artistic excellence, and contribute to cultural value, youth and community development, and economic and social growth. IDB may finance up to two-thirds of project costs.

Applications must be submitted before Jan. 31, 2011, to IDB country offices in 26 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
