The Inter-American Development Bank is providing $20 million to support El Salvador’s Ciudad Mujer project, which aims to improve the living conditions of women in the country.
IDB’s loan will be used for the construction of six Ciudad Mujer centers, which will provide services in response to and spearhead the prevention of violence, as well as spur economic development and improve education, child care and sexual and reproductive health.
