IDB Holds Consultation on Climate Change Strategy

The Inter-American Development Bank has launched a public consultation on the draft of its integrated strategy for climate change adaptation and mitigation and sustainable and renewable energy.

The consultation includes a 90-day online forum as well as meetings with civil society representatives.

The draft climate change and clean energy strategy focuses on bolstering local knowledge and technical capacity, mainstreaming climate change in the bank’s operations, expanding lending and technical assistance in key sectors, and increasing investments.
