IDB to Help Modernize Peru's Judicial System

    The Inter-American Development Bank has approved a $26 million loan to help increase the quality and coverage of judicial services in some of Peru’s most vulnerable communities.

    The loan will be used for the modernization of Peru’s judicial system, with an eye on improving judicial services in the Amazon and Andean regions, which are characterized by dispersed populations, extreme poverty and poor judicial coverage.
