The International Fund for Agricultural Development will release USD10.2 million to revive Haiti’s agriculture. The rescue funding seeks to scale up domestic food production, increase basic food supplies in the markets and boost food security in the storm-ravaged Caribbean nation. The assistance will be implemented through the Initiative on Soaring Food Prices, a program recently launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization.
